Using Glowmeter

Glowmeter is published by Apphive Technologies. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple’s standard end user licence agreement. You must be 18 or older, and you should only scan your own face.

What Glowmeter is, and is not

Glowmeter tracks how your skin looks over time and compares it with your own baseline. Results are estimates from photos, and they are affected by light, angle, make-up and the camera. They can be wrong.

Glowmeter is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. A product test verdict describes your own photos over eight weeks. It is not proof that a product works or does not work. If you are worried about your skin, speak to a doctor.

Plans and billing

Glowmeter offers a Yearly and a Weekly plan. Both are auto-renewing subscriptions, bought through your Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the plan renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.

The price is shown in the App Store before you subscribe. Both plans include everything in the app.

Cancelling and refunds

Manage or cancel a subscription any time in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, through Report a Problem. If a plan ends, your history stays readable. Only new scans and the paid features are locked.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, try to get around its limits, or interfere with the service that analyses your photos.

Third-party services

Glowmeter relies on services run by others, including AILabTools to analyse photos, Anthropic to write summaries and read product labels, RevenueCat to confirm your plan, and Apple. The privacy policy explains what each one receives.

Availability

We try to keep Glowmeter available, but it may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. A scan that fails does not use your weekly allowance.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Apphive Technologies is not liable for losses that come from relying on Glowmeter’s results, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of where you live that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Bengaluru, India have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and will update the date above when we do. Questions go to support@apphive.tech.
